Assisted team leaders in developing plans to safely test, clean and remove the abandoned 10” Luxor Pipeline. Developed contingency plans and maps to further break down test sections in the event the pipe did not pass test. Developed the Enbridge below grade facilities management plan that outlines underground utility excavation standards. Developed procedure for all way locate contractors to map and submit deliverables of existing utilities found ahead of construction crews. Trained client and contractor personnel in Enbridge and OSHA excavation guidelines and policies. Worked with inspection staff and contractor management in the field to ensure procedures were being followed and provided insight and guidance when needed. Worked closely with Ground Disturbance Supervisors assigned to each spread to ensure thorough understanding and compliance of project requirements related to excavation throughout the project. Worked closely with the survey coordinator and all way locate contractors to ensure proper locating procedures were performed and line locate deliverables were submitted accurate and on time. Responsibilities: Include overseeing multiple survey crews during the preliminary and cadastral surveys on the eastern 320 miles (Minnesota, North Dakota State Line to Superior Wisconsin) of the proposed Enbridge Sandpiper Pipeline. Worked closely with survey crew leaders to plan daily survey activities and ensure efficient progress and data collection. Communicated with the right of way department to acquire landowner survey permissions for properties crews needed to access and developed Trimble DC files to show properties where permission could not be acquired. Worked closely with subcontractor hired to assist with the cadastral survey, lead weekly meetings to discuss progress, budget, schedule and deliverable. Created large project spreadsheets to track progress and budgets in real time. Performed QA/QC of all survey data collected and deliverables to be submitted to Enbridge. Lead weekly meetings with the client (Enbridge) to discuss current progress, weekly look ahead of planned activities, deliverables and budget. Developed plan to meet Enbridge safety and MN DOT requirements and acquired permits for crews to work within state HWY right of ways. Worked with MN DOT to gain passwords and access to the Minnesota VRS Network. Worked with Sea Floor Systems to acquire a sonar device that paired with our Trimble GPS units to ensure safe and accurate profiles of all of major river crossings across the project. After preliminary and cadastral surveys were completed under budget and ahead of schedule I began working for the client in-house from the Superior Wisconsin office. Worked under the guidance of Enbridge’s licensed surveyors and design team using AutoCAD Civil 3D to draft all parcels the proposed route crossed based on property deed records. Once all parcels were drafted I imported the project GIS property data and corrected parcels to eliminate GIS error then exported the corrected information and updated the ArcGIS database.

Staked work space and easement boundaries and performed As-Built survey of all test headers, fittings and pipe replacement. Performed all way locates to find and mark lateral lines and foreign utilities within the work sites.
