This, my most recent and current role, is within the Real Time Risk Executive team at Sky Betting & Gaming. Within this industry, Responsible Gambling is at the forefront of all operations and has never been more important than it is now. One of the key responsibilities within this role is to make Sky Betting & Gaming the safest place to gamble within the industry. I would ensure this on a day-to-day basis within every task required. Each day, the daily task list will be distributed to the team to be completed. This includes a number of different reports that obtain the data gathered from the previous day and will include factors such as deposits made, stakes made, time spent playing on the site and many more. Once on the task, a risk review of every account will take place to determine the actions required. Every account review will require extreme attention to detail. This is because there are many factors that can be the difference between very important interactions needing to be held. Upon being in this role and industry, I have had to hold often difficult and personal questions. This is due to the information that we require ensuring that the customer’s finances and emotions are not affected. Although I do always strive to offer exceptional customer service, in this role the safety of the customer and the business will always be priority. This does lead to having to make difficult decisions of off my own back on the spot for the best resolution for all parties involved.

This role was within the Key Account Service team. The main responsibilities within this role are to be the first point of contact for our Key Account and High Value customers. With this comes many more responsibilities due to the accounts themselves being higher risk than what would usually be seen within a normal contact contact centre position in this industry. This would be due to triggers such as the customer’s high level Deposits/Withdrawals, the ages of the customers and the potential public status of the customer. Alongside the customer contacts, we do also have to process many personal offers for the Key Account Customers including weekly percentages of their losses returned, sports accumulator bonuses, overnight Best Odds Guaranteed credits just to name a few. As well that, as a team we had to work and communicate very closely with the current customer account managers themselves. Whether this would be concerning promotions, offers, tasks or hospitality events, our relationship with them would be a key aspect.
