Working at Bryte in a start-up environment has enabled me to experience a variety of new responsibilities within a corporate business structure. Throughout which I developed new skills and advanced existing ones. This expanded skillset includes: ● CAD & PLM Administration; updating of templates, sheet formats, PDM management, installation & upgrading of Solidworks software, and troubleshooting. ● Document management; creation of CAD drawings, datasheet collection, part number and BOM creation & revisions, sourcing & price data management and ECO processes. ● Logistical Support; creation of shipping documents and arranging domestic & international freight shipping, packaging & material handling, packaging design, and white glove delivery services. ● Compliance; becoming UL Master Gatekeeper for US State and Federal levels, aiming for UL 962 certification. Additionally, supplementing other compliance needs including 16 CFR 1632/1633 burns, electrical safety regulations and investigation into foreign compliance requirements.● Increased understanding of working with new materials in a production environment. Electronics enclosures within various foams and textiles provided unique product design challenges and hands-on assembly processes. Moreover, my time with Bryte challenged me to rebuild their internal systems and models in a meaningful manner. Through use of parametric modeling, configuration management and reworked file templates; I was able to streamline the documentation updating process as well as overall loading time for larger files. Additionally, I implemented standardization of naming conventions, OTS part selection, documentation review & internal processes.
