Designing Hydrogen storage and integrating process equipment to service the growing Australian hydrogen industry.Performing Regulation, Codes of Practice and Standards reviews to establish and document process design philosophies. The Environmental and Chemistry Graduate at Millmerran Power Station (2x428MW supercrtical cycle). Employed operability and reliability engineering skills to ensure supply of high quality boiler feed water using chemical control, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange (Septer and ECDI) technologies. Completed small project design work to improve water treatment capability, control and safety of the plant and it's processes.Contractor and stakeholder interaction, engagement and management are essential to my role and require high levels of leadership and communication skills.Development of the ISO 14001 site Environment Management Plan.

Materials research at the Bio-Materials & Engineering Materials Laboratory, James Cook University. Culminating in the publication of a research paper on the potential for the use of specific materials in biodegradable orthopaedic implants.

As a Vacation Student with Queensland Nickel I worked under a senior process engineer in the powerhouse, water treatment and gas plant areas. My major project was the development of a model to predict chemical use for treating boiler feed water, however I also worked extensively with ion exchange resins, was involved with risk register reviews for the gas plant and monitoring of critical operating exceptions to area processes.
