SAP ECC 6.0 S/D & BI Teams - June 2008 to Sept 2010Mr. Powers lead the efforts of two large teams of functional analysts and developers to deliver solution extensions and enhancements for the LMP solution. The Distribution team was responsible for solution delivery of all aspects of U.S. Army materiel sales and distribution activity; the Business Intelligence team delivered enterprise-level customized and ad-hoc query reporting functionality to more than 10,000 users.Mr. Powers played a key role in leading the preparatory efforts for legacy data migration, system testing and user-acceptance for LMP's Deployment Two (AMCOM Aviation & Missile Army command). In May, 2009, He was a key member of the D2 Cutover operations center management team and is currently engaged in similar activities for the October 2010 delivery of Deployment Three (TACOM, JM&LC and ASC Army commands). Additionally, in October, 2009, Mr. Powers led the cutover and operations center management team for the SAP R/3 4.6c to ECC 6.0 upgrade conversion.

S/D functional analyst / team manager on the US Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).Mr. Powers served as lead analyst for the LMP Customer Master Interface conversion while concurrently managing two other Distribution sub-teams: Deployment Two Data Migration team and LMP-to-GCSS (G-Army) Cycle III Partner Testing team. The Customer Master Interface was high-complexity work involving transferring ownership of customer master data to a third party and developing XI interfaces to maintain this data in LMP. The Data Migration team managed the migration of more than 1.5 million legacy records into the LMP solution with an overall >99% load success rate. The Partner Testing team participated in a two-month test cycle, resulting in G-Army program recognition of each LMP team member's successful contribution and participation.His teams delivered these solutions to the program on-time; fully meeting the requirements of the program, client and stakeholders.

(Industry) October 2005 – March 2007As Program Director, Mr. Powers implemented a new-concept orthopedic rehabilitation/recovery program for post-operative orthopedic-surgery patients. He acted as professional liaison to area orthopedic surgeons/medical professionals and managed a staff of five board-certified therapists while consistently delivering patient census and EBIT goals through business development efforts. He acted as mentor for other program directors and marketing managers at other facilities. Mr. Powers led the marketing development, clinical and operational improvement teams within the organization.

As an Investment Representative, Mr. Powers focused on client-centric sales for individual retirement planning, business retirement plans and general investing. He was responsible for all aspects of branch operations, conducted investment seminars for target audiences, and developed/executed marketing plans to meet business plan objectives. As a result of consistently exceeding sales targets, he was advanced to Segment II investment representative.

Mr. Powers served as Operations Manager and Director of Technical Services, responsible for all aspects of client-services, shop-floor training, research & development, information systems and quality engineering. He created, implemented and maintained customized software solutions for engineering control, procurement, manufacturing scheduling, human resources, sales order entry and distribution.He was a member of the management team steering committee responsible for enterprise-wide operations.

At a leading pharmaceutical company, Mr. Powers was engaged as a senior consultant, leading the efforts of the sales and distribution team during SAP R/3 implementation. His expertise in variant configuration and cross-functional SAP skills enabled the project to meet its implementation target successfully. He was involved in user training design & delivery, steering committee presentations and served on the Global Transformation Team - charged with ensuring consistent best-practice/process application within the SAP architecture for global R/3 implementation efforts.

Mr. Powers acted as Project Manager for the SAP R/3 Implementation. He served as the primary liaison to contract consultant project management team (IBM) and managed daily project triage throughout all phases of implementation for multiple business entities within the corporation. He met weekly with executive management teams from parent company, Rubbermaid, and LTCPS to apprise of project readiness. He was responsible for ensuring seamless integration into existing LTCPS business and upstream compatibility and integration into future Rubbermaid SAP systems.Additionally, Mr. Powers was responsible for the SD functionality at all three business locations, which included a complex variant configuration solution for order entry.
