Pruning, mowing, tree removal, and general landscape and facility maintenance.

Tree Climber. Perform all duties related to general tree work including climbing, rigging, and ground work. Use proper techniques in the duties of pruning and training trees of all ages and sizes.

Worked in a four man crew assisting head arborist in climbing, rigging, and clean-up of large tree pruning and removal operations. Included daily experience running chainsaws, wood chippers and other related equipment. Also aided in plant healthcare activities which included Tree-Age trunk injections to treat ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer.

Worked independently maintaining a small designated portion of campus. Duties included maintaining shrub and perennial plantings, mowing turf areas in prized gardens, and general equipment maintenance.

Seasonal employee for the cemetery, parks and forestry division where duties included but were not limited to mowing, ballfield prep, tree-trimming, tree inventorying, tree planting, and general park maintenance.

Worked on a large crew installing high end residential landscapes. Duties included planting trees and shrubs, installing mulch and stone, constructing retaining walls, and installing lawns.
