About Corey Duncan
As a kid I ran the halls of a large agency in San Francisco, it sparked something and inspired me to want to work in advertising as a creative. My entire life has been aimed at creating fun, memorable, strategically-driven creative solutions for brands and clients; and after 20+ years in the business I still have a passion for what I do. I'm a well-balanced creative with equal parts knowledge of integrated campaigns and the digital marketing. Below are 5 quick things about me and my work.1) I've worked on projects for some of the best brands in the world including: Visa, Vrbo, NFL, Disney, The Olympics, Dell, Symantec, Clorox, Adweek, ebay Motors, HBO, iHeartRadio, NBC Sports, Golf Channel, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Raiders, Jamba Juice, Univision, and many many more.2) I got my first job in advertising by busting my tail as an unpaid intern, proving my abilities as a designer... and by slicing the end of my finger off with an X-ATCO blade while cutting boards for a presentation. My CD felt terrible and hired me full-time the next day to ensure I had medical coverage.3) As a Senior Art Director/Digital Creative Director I've learned many things: How to strategize and design for every medium. Manage projects, teams, and departments. Build and maintain brand guidelines across channels; and to problem solve quickly, with grace and empathy.4) I possess an incredible work-ethic, I am passionate about what I do and stop at nothing to get the job done. I've never missed a deadline, and I never will. When I work you get a solid 100% from me... but I also believe in being treated like a professional adult with the realization that I have a life that does not ever stop, and sometimes I'm going to need to tend to that life... but know that work will ALWAYS get done on time.5) I really love what I do... While at Swirl I was mainly responsible for generating integrated marketing campaigns that would utilize a wide array of creative mediums, channels, and maintain brand guidelines across all forms.
