I hold an M.A. in Classical Archaeology from Tufts University and have been working in the restaurant industry at all levels of the business, and recently began working as a Gallery Interpreter at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, providing experiential and interactive programming and learning opportunities for our guests of all ages. During my graduate experience I had the opportunity to work closely with archaeological and museum materials through both in class examination and multiple excavation experiences. Working as part of a team alongside different professors at Tufts allowed me the opportunity to more fully develop my leadership ability as well as my own teaching methodology. My experience as a digital records archivist as well as my work with the Perseus Digital Library at Tufts has given me a greater understanding of the ways in which information can be made available to a wider audience. One of the most important experiences I had as a graduate student was writing my M.A. thesis. This independent research opportunity taught me much concerning the process of analyzing, examining, reexamining, and writing for publication concerning objects of historical importance and museum quality.
