The Sadie Summit is a 3-Month Fellowship hosted by JP Morgan to prepare students to enter the finance world. In this fellowship, we completed a forage course in Investment Banking that allowed us to work through a job simulation. We also had the opportunity to connect and network with members of the company and mentors.

In my role as the Student Relations Chair, I currently orchestrate promotional campaigns to enhance the club's visibility on campus, I establish strong relationships with partnering organizations and members to promote an inclusive club culture and I implement effective communication plans to keep members informed about ongoing events, meetings, and exciting opportunities.

In this role, I lead the initiation and execution of a dedicated project focused on crafting spaces within Kenan-Flagler that nurture a strong sense of community. I successfully orchestrate 5 distinct campaigns semesterly, amassing a combined attendance of over 500 students, aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for diverse cultures. Actively engage with Kenan-Flagler students, employing strategic communication initiatives to address and advance their specific needs.

As Recruitment Chair, I execute recruitment strategies that result in new member engagement. I maximize campus visibility through rush events, tabling, social media, and other marketing/communication channels. Additionally, I foster fraternity engagement and collaboration by successfully onboarding new members.

During my internship, I had the opportunity to evaluate a live real estate deal involving the development of a mixed-use asset in Charlotte, North Carolina. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing my understanding of the complexities within the real estate industry. Additionally, I completed over 60 hours of rigorous training, delving into various aspects of real estate fundamentals, property valuation, financial modeling, and market analysis. This extensive training equipped me with the necessary skills and expertise to navigate the intricacies of real estate transactions effectively. Moreover, I collaborated closely with seasoned real estate professionals at Quarterra Group, where I contributed to the development of 10-year cash flow projections and conducted sensitivity analysis. These experiences have not only broadened my knowledge but have also honed my analytical and decision-making abilities, preparing me for success in the dynamic world of real estate.

I created the clothing brand “RONU” in 2020 to fight against the injustices against African Americans during this time. Fifty percent of all profit was donated to the Black Lives Matter Movement. RONU is a word taken from the African language Yoruba and means “Movement” as well as “Son of God.” This brand served as a symbol of our movement in the black community. Or in other words our “RONU.”
