As Account Manager, I strategically designed and managed all activities related to national and international incentive programs, national conferences, and other corporate events for a variety of clients including a national insurance company and national financial institution. A high level overview of my key responsibilities include: researching locations and markets, project proposal design and presentation, sourcing local venues, suppliers, and partners. I used my extensive network of contacts to negotiate favourable rates and contracts. I managed communication and relationships with clients and vendors prior to and during on site execution. I effectively led on-site teams and managed all elements related to event execution. During my time at Heller Productions I was involved in the management of all aspects of events with budgets ranging from $50,000 to 1.2 million dollars, ensuring that all elements remained within set parameters. I maintained all payment schedules and completed final budget reconciliation. I was a direct liaison with clients and executives ensuring successful communications and that the projected goals of the events were met. I worked with in-house marketing teams to create effective marketing campaigns. I managed internal and contract resource staff for all events.
