My total work experience is 11+ years, I did not find a lot of opportunity at Meijer, but I did learn a lot, especially Communication skills. I have found many more opportunities as a substitute teacher to apply what I have learned to help students learn. I have learned many things I think useful to the careers I am pursuing, Teaching and Writing. Skills like Time Management and Classroom Management. After some research into writing careers I have found that I am following a similar path to Writers and Editors. I'm curious about all three careers and will need those skills anyways like Technical Writing and Editing. I wrote all the time growing up, despite my difficult up bringing. I turned to poetry for my art and spent a lot of my free time writing poetry along with research into subjects and games I found interesting. After going to GRCC I had found out what I wanted to do, Teach and Write. I have a fondness for Writing, Art, History, Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Technology, Music, and more.
