Qualifying and troubleshooting new components from different suppliers for cost saving analysis• Collaborate with design authority, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, component vendors and suppliers, and quality engineers to maintain and improve existing products and to ensure regulatory and product performance requirements are met• Responsible for performing pilot run of Electronics Part during qualification to ensure that there will no manufacturing issues and field failure after the electronics parts has been used in Mass Production• Performs vendor/manufacturer selections, negotiations or technical qualifications and audit• Introduce new potential suppliers or manufacturers who can provide high quality parts at the same time meet the cost objective• Qualify component based on cost savings to attain highest possible merit for the company

Ensures that the production run smoothly.• Resolving product issues and performing appropriate technical support to the test area. • Provides hardware troubleshooting and repair down to component level.• Ensures that correct and up to date programs are loaded on each and every test systems for the products as well as to ensure that hardware are working on all system.• Monitors devices that are failing on all assigned test systems and provide system limitation updates to production.• Coordinates with System Personnel all failing setup with tester related issues.• Performs technical product sustaining - Low yield verification on the lots being tested.• Provides production support and help HMG (handler maintenance group) to ensure that all set-up and production problems are attended to with least possible downtime.• Improve the utilization of assigned products. Investigate the root cause of the Most Test Failures encountered during set-up due to system/hardware/program limitation.• Interpreting and Analyzing Electronic Circuits Diagram.• Knowledgeable in basic circuit troubleshooting.• Line support to KTS and ASL1000 system for PW plus and Super PW plus configurations both DOS and Windows NT Base Programs• Basic operation of different handlers such as Telp8x, Rasco, Aseco, Aetrium, Simeca, MT9510, MT9320, Symtek.• WS/CSP support
