As the Chief of Party, I oversee the Learning and Engaging All (LEAPS) II project funded by USDA in Savannakhet, Laos, which serves over 46,000 beneficiaries annually. LEAPS II works in 350 schools to provide programming that contributes to a healthy learning environment so children can reach their full potential. I provide program quality oversight for four streams of programming: school meals; literacy; inclusive education; and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). I also provide management quality oversight for operations and oversee a staff of 76.

The GIFTED program is a leadership and professional development program that aims to build capacity in emerging female leaders in education in Ghana specifically as it pertains to the education of girls and young women.Direct day-to-day operations, research initiatives, and programming for a women’s leadership and girls’ education program in Winneba, Ghana.Lead a team of three to five employees in the United States and Ghana.Deliver trainings on Theory of Change and program management to participants and staff in country.Manage a program budget of 500,000 USD.Design data collection and evaluation tools to measure program impact.Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.Present research findings at domestic and international conferences.

Taught two university level 200 courses: World History 1945-Present and African Women’s History.Developed a new curriculum for the African Women’s History course to incorporate gender issues into the teaching of African History.Conducted gender diversity trainings for faculty and students in the History Education Department.
