My job includes dealing with grievances from inmates that are housed in prison facilities located in the northern part of Mississippi. This includes opening up cases so that the inmates can have their grievances resolved in order to avoid going to court. Other parts of my job include keeping a record of these cases on different types of computer programs as well as physical copies. At the end of each month, I compile monthly reports of every single case that have been worked by people within my department. I also deal with the distribution of paperwork for both inmates and staff members at different facilities.
