A committed nonprofit professional, Cornelius has over a decade of mission-driven strategic communications experience and has spent his career working for internationally recognized nonprofits in a variety of spaces, including: social justice, immigrant inclusion, the arts, and most recently the environment. Throughout his career, Cornelius has worked on campaigns that leverage the power of digital storytelling, earned media, and paid advertising to move the needle on some of the most critical issues facing our society and planet. In addition to his digital communications work, Cornelius was an artist manager for 10 years with GRAMMY-winning and nominated clients such as Che Apalache and the Carolina Chocolate Drops. He has a B.S. in Sustainable Development and Agroecology from Appalachian State University and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
