About Cornelius Moore

As my resume indicates, I possess more than 12 years of progressive experience in the management field. My professional history includes positions such as Assistant Training Manager & General Manager withinrestaurants. I have 5 years experience in hotels starting at the Hyatt Place River North which has a total of 212 rooms and an onsite restaurant. I started as a GSR advancing to Night Audit, onto Supervisor.After having to leave the industry I’ve come to love due to COVID, I had to reinvent myself. From October 2020 to June 2021 I oversaw the new development of The Penthouse Hyde Park which is a newlyrenovated rooftop venue located on the Southside of Chicago. Along with my partner we oversaw the full construction build out, we worked closely with the architect with the design and concept. Implemented all operating procedures, full setup of webpage and other sites such as the Knot and Wedding wire. After managing and overseeing the build out, I managed and booked all current and events with a primary focus on weddings. I do believe my responsibilities as supervisor, general manager and consultant along with my experience makes me a good overall fit.
