I have had the privilege of serving as the safety coordinator at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County for the past two years. In this role, I have been pivotal in developing and implementing safety protocols that prioritize the well-being of our employees, seasonals, and volunteers within our diverse and dynamic work environment.With an advanced diploma in forest management, I have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively apply safety principles to natural resources and conservation projects. Conducting thorough risk assessments, analyzing data, and providing comprehensive safety training have been key components of my responsibilities. I have taken great pride in the recent development of a detailed safety policy that incorporates both written and visual elements to promote maximum awareness and compliance among our staff.My commitment to staying informed about changing regulations and industry best practices drives me to continually enhance our safety measures.
