In December of 2017, I received my undergraduate degree in English Writing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a minor in communications. From there, I went on to accept a position as an editorial assistant (EA) within the Pearson VUE Content Development team. After almost five years and moving up a few positions at VUE, I felt it was time for a career change.I have long held a curiosity for computer programming and a strong desire to learn the ways of that subject matter. Acting on that curiosity, I found myself once again attending West Chester University of Pennsylvania and earned a Master of Computer Science degree in December 2022.Now, I happily work as a software engineer at Vanguard where I will continue to hone my skills and become a full-fledged full-stack engineer.On top of my academic and professional achievements, I am also a veteran of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard after having served for six years. Naturally, the Army pushed and molded me into a well-disciplined individual, leaving me with traits suited for the professional world.
