Responsible for working directly with children who have autism ages 2-10 years old. Currently I manage a caseload of clients using evidence-based/person-centered principles to develop, implement and coordinate an occupational therapy program. I also supervise two COTAs and complete training for the new hires who may be unfamiliar with the screening and standardized evaluation tools utilized in this setting.I provide screening, evaluation and treatment to clients to assist them in gaining functional skills related to ADLs and IADLs. I have special interests in feeding and sensory integration techniques. Helping children learn functional play skills in addition to the fine and gross motor skills necessary to complete or participate in their daily routine is extremely rewarding.
