I am responsible for all aspects of running 36, week-long research conferences a year and upholding the prestigious reputation of GRC at a variety of venues across the United States and the world. I coordinate with the Chairmen, GRC home office, attendees and the conference venue staff to foster engaging educational and networking opportunities to 4,200+ leading scientists, doctors and engineers a year. I lead weekly budget meetings and am frequently responsible for weekly budgets of over $100,000. During my time with GRC I have been trusted with the allocation of millions of dollars. I coordinate travel, lodging, food and beverage, discussions, lectures, as well as activities and excursions both fun and educational for attendees from all over the world. I respond to crises, identify, and implement strategies to improve attendee experience as well as manage and train staff. Finally I am responsible for speaking to large crowds several times a week and acting as the face of GRC to thousands of attendees a year.

I performed a number of duties such as enforcing maritime law and policy, emergency response, managing dock and mooring reservations and overseeing safe and efficient conditions within the harbor. I also managed and trained new members of staff. On many occasions I was the highest-ranking member of staff on duty and was entirely responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Edgartown Harbor during peak season.
