In this role I designed, developed, and executed performance tests using Mercury Load Runner. I provided mentoring for peers on the Quality Engineering team as the team and their responsibilities grew. I executed proof-of-concept activities against various software and hardware packages from external vendors.

I designed, developed, and tested C++ applications that communicated with external APIs to interface with real-time pricing and deal feeds for the securities market. I also performed quality assurance and system test activities and performed application support duties at client locations.

In this role I developed and executed test plans across several different applications. I coordinated project release schedules with project team leads. I also interacted closely with e-commerce development team, database administrators, and application support to produce a quality application.

I developed, maintained, and tested COBOL/IDMS application software. I performed analysis and testing of date simulation tools for Year 2000 testing and prepared detailed designs for both mainframe and client/server applications. In this role I designed, developed, and implemented an in-house defect tracking system written in Visual Basic.
