• Working with several departments including property management, technical services, fire and life safety, construction services and the Corporate Environmental OHS Services Group (CESG) to ensure fulfillment of all.
• Assist and coordinate with all departments of the property management team to coordinate and manage environmental and health and safety impacts for all work at the complex, including renovations, regular building.
• Ensure legislative compliance with all regulatory requirements related to Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety as outlined by the ministry of Labour, the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change and other.
• As the Asbestos Management Program Manager, Coordinate annual and periodic inspections of asbestos containing building materials, manage asbestos inventories and compliance
• Investigate water incursion and water damage incidents to assess the need for further investigation, mould remediation, and/or potential health and safety concerns
• Act as a technical resource to the property’s Joint Health & Safety Committee; monitor completion of all associated tasks relative to building inspections, accident investigations, corrective action plans and property.
