Pre-sales systems engineer providing sales support to the regional sales teams from all areas of the company, including national service providers, regional service providers, VAR channels, and their end customers. Responsible for the design of high density, high performance networks used in enterprise, education, hospitality, and manufacturing verticals. Conduct sales presentations, web demonstrations, and assist with trade show activities. To be a single point of contact for the sales team and customer accounts for technical questions, design issues, proof of concept testing, and assistance with the RFP/RFQ process.

Customer facing technical expert for all HP/3Com Networking products, including Wireless LAN Controllers, layer 2 & 3 switches & IP Telephony equipment. Design and implement networks that are best for the customers’ environmental and functional needs. Trainer for the 3Com wireless and Wired networking portfolio; responsible for teaching customers and field staff proper design, implementation and troubleshooting of the networking equipment.

Responsible for all IT functions within the company, including administration of 4 Windows 2003 Enterprise servers 3 Red Hat / Fedora Linux servers, various Windows and Linux laptops. Networking equipment including Hitachi switches, VDSL switches, and the NBX-100 phone system. In charge of layer 2 and layer 3 testing of the VDSL equipment the company develops using Spirent’s AX/4000 and SmartBits 600, to insure the client’s specifications have been met.
