I worked part-time to assist Payne County with whatever services were required. I usually dealt with opening and closing files, monthly employee time and effort sheets, directing phone calls, as well as just general office help.

I spent Summer 2024 traveling around the nation to test air emissions of large power plants. While in this role traveling and overtime would commonly add up to 70 hour weeks. I had to learn how to manage my time and focus to truly get the best experience. While on the road I experienced the labors of field work as well as some test work. I had the opportunity to learn about how air emissions are tested and how those results can transfer into better living environments. I learned safe practices and how to be detail oriented with every step.
