I am a solutions-oriented and analytical manager and administrator with a proven track record for success within a service-driven industry. Having a developed expertise in customer-focused retail over the past seven years, I have acquired advanced skills in hospitality, leadership, team building, and achieving results. I am particularly passionate about the talent process, from recruitment to training, and ultimately building a legacy of leadership within an organization while creating an energized and successful team. Additionally, my experience has led me to value and understand what it takes to cultivate loyalty with clients and grow market share.Over the past seven years of leadership experience, I have faced many challenges, and come away with many successes. I have owned and operated a successful multimillion dollar omnichannel retail operation, leading its most profitable year for more than a decade. In two separate institutions, I have rolled out four highly successful loyalty programs, taking the lead on ground level training as well as building accountable leaders to continue the work. Record low expenses and shrinkages have been achieved year over year across multiple organizations. I have hired, trained, and promoted dozens of successful employees, raising people up to celebrate and continue driving successes.Most recently, as a bookseller, I have found an industry that rewards a sincere passion for books and readers, one that I have held close for many years. The pleasure of connecting people with products that meet their needs, as well as curating a simultaneously timeless and timely assortment of products, grounded in a community of enthusiastic consumers, is something by which I have been truly rewarded.
