My team is the Enterprise Integration System for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As such we help facilitate data integration between systems within and outside the Church. This integration system is made up of a bunch of small Java applications where each application is the interaction between the connecting system and the rest of the integrations system. Data transfer protocols we support are AMQPS, HTTPS, SFTP.* Help connecting systems understand the benefits of using better protocols to move data and more real time event driven patterns.* Assist developers from connecting systems get connected to our integration system using many different protocols.* Develop, enhance and maintain java applications that move/transform data and connect to other systems using things like AMQPS (AWS sqs/sns, Azure Queues, JMS, Apache Qpid), HTTPS (REST or SOAP), SFTP, custom Java API's etc.* Coordinate and gather requirements for projects to assign out to engineers.* DevOps - See projects from development through to production.* Write unit test for each of our applications that run inside our integration system in a TDD fashion.* Monitor the integration system as a whole, trouble shoot network or application problems and get them resolved in a production environment. * Deploy applications for the team out to our production environment.
