I am a Mechanical Engineering Masters Student at Georgia Tech and I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. I have extensive experience with mechanical design using CAD software as well as manufacturing with manual machines, rapid prototyping methods, and CNC machines. School projects include two robotic arms and an automated letter sorting machine. I have also been a member of the RoboJackets Battlebots team at Georgia Tech for five years and during that time I have been responsible for four robots including a 3-pound ring spinner, two sumo bots, and a 60-pound undercutting disk spinner. I have held two internship positions, one at Potter Electric Signal Company in the summer of 2015 and one at Uniq Technologies Inc. in the summer of 2018. At Potter I was responsible for designing an automated system for setting the trip pressure of pressure switches for use in their assembly line. I was asked back over winter break of 2015 to design a modular system for pressure testing manifolds. At Uniq I was responsible for designing the payload attachment for a heavy payload drone. Currently, I am a co-founder of Nix LLC where my responsibilities include mechanical and electrical design and prototyping, product design, as well as certain business aspects of the company.
