This role reports to the Sr. Director, Content Studio. The Sr. Editor/ Post Production Manager will possess a minimum of 10 years in the industry and a solid background in post-production processes, specifically in relation to data management. Commanding a suite of cutting-edge, industry-leading hardware/software (Frame, ProMAx, MediaShuttle, Asana and an evolving set of AI tools), the role will manage the post-production process and pipeline, ensuring the highest quality standards are met from ingest to archive, while maximizing workflow efficiency, minimizing editor downtime and increasing ROI. The role involves collaborating with a team of editors, directors and producers; hands-on editing, project management, and in depth knowledge of data management protocols and solutions to produce compelling videos that meet our clients' objectives. By combining technical skill and artistic vision, this role helps create immersive and visually stunning experiences, captivate audiences, and plays a key role in the overall evolution of the Amp Content Studio.Project Oversight:Manage the video editing process from initial footage acquisition to final delivery.Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand project requirements and vision. Liaise with PMs and Project Management Lead to optimize project communication, workflow and deliverables; and conduct quarterly Production 101 workshops to deepen PM knowledge.Maintain the post pipeline to ensure timely completion of projects.Perform hands-on finishing work, creating compelling narratives and visually stunning sequences.Improve interdepartmental editing techniques, including color correction, and motion graphics, and VFX to enhance video quality.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to maintain a seamless workflow.Oversee and Manage ProMAX system and ensure a no downtime working condition in regards to departmental data.

The senior video editor combines technical expertise, creative vision, and leadership skills to produce high-quality video content while managing the editing process and guiding a team of editors.Project Management:Supervision: Lead a team of video editors, providing guidance and feedback to ensure consistency and quality. Scheduling: Manage timelines and deadlines, ensuring projects are completed on timeCoordination: Work closely with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.Editing:Footage Review: Review raw footage to select the best takes and segments.Assembly: Assemble footage into a coherent sequence that follows the storyboard or script.Fine-tuning: Adjust pacing, timing, and transitions to enhance the flow and narrative.Creative Input:Storytelling: Use creative judgment to enhance the story or message through editing choices.Effects and Graphics: Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations as needed.Sound Design: Edit and synchronize audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and music.Technical Skills:Software Proficiency: Expert use of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Figma, Avid Media Composer, or DaVinci Resolve.Color Grading: Perform color correction and grading to achieve the desired visual style.Exporting: Export the final video in various formats and resolutions as required for different platforms.
