I help clients resolve a wide range of legal and business problems, with a particular emphasis on real-estate, small to mid-size businesses, family businesses, and securities disputes.I have litigated in state and federal courts and arbitrated before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). I enjoy working on cases involving securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, employment discrimination, and antitrust claims. I have also helped my clients solve their legal and business problems without having to litigate, whether it be through early mediation, restructuring transactions, or guiding my clients through alternatives to litigation while helping them achieve their business goals.In addition to litigating cases, I have written several articles and been asked to give CLE presentations in my practice areas. I have also helped special litigation committees investigate and report on allegations of corporate abuse and mismanagement. I am an active member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, served on the Executive Committee of the Fund for Legal Aid, and have been active with several other professional, fraternal, and personal organizations. Outside the office, I spend my year alternating between hockey and golf.
