Communities for Renewables CIC helps localities to establish and run community energy enterprises which deliver community owned renewable energy projects, by drawing on the team's expertise in the whole lifecycle of renewables development from site inception, through planning, fundraising and construction to asset management.We measure our success on the long term viability and social impact of the enterprises we work with. We have helped our clients to deliver over 35MW of community owned solar, raising £56m of share, bond and loan finance, and we now provide ongoing management services for 50MW of community solar projects.The community energy projects we have helped to establish and supported through development and fund-raising are projected to generate over £17m of surplus revenue to fund initiatives in their locality.We are very proud of our achievements to date and we hope to continue to help the community energy sector to grow and thrive.
