I have been a manager for a decade now, and I enjoy it. I believe I have the right personality and mindset to manage people. Having all the bosses that I have had over the years has taught me that most people do not have this skill, or at least the skill to do it well or effectively.As a manager you have to be able to adapt. No two people are alike and you have to recognize that, and be able to get your point across in different ways. being a manager is not a job to boss people around, its a job to relay information, and make sure those people adhere to the information you provide. Most of my bosses in my past seem like they think they are there to boss people around and make sure everyone does everything their own way. I personally know there are many different ways to get a job done right. Its my job to make sure the job is done correctly and safely. I know my way is not always right for everyone. People need to be able to think for themselves.
