As Design Director for The Red & Black - Northeastern University’s Student Athletics Magazine, I led the design team through the production of a semesterly magazine. My team and I collaborated with the writers, editors, athletes and photographers to meet the deadlines set by our printer to put out an issue every semester. Through this experience, I learned how to lead a team of designers while also refining my own design skills and what it takes to produce a high-quality print magazine.

Fusion is an enterprise accelerator within Optum that works with all lines of business across UnitedHealth Group. We co-create with teams by turning healthcare problems into opportunities in order to improve the lives of the members we serve.As the Visual Design Co-op with Fusion I created compelling artifacts to support diverse projects within the team and for outside clients. I supported sessions within the enterprise to accelerate teams for succeed with product launches and realignment.

In my role on the Custom Creative team at BBC I designed POS advertisements to be sent to sales reps and vendors throughout the country. I communicated with sales reps, brand leads, the legal team and other designers to produce high-quality designs. I also worked with external vendors to get posters, banners, cards and other POS ready for print production, managing price quotes and design proofs.

As a Peer Mentor I instructed and provided support to students during the co-op search process. I reviewed resumes and conducted mock interviews during one-on-one meetings with students. I inputed grades, tracked attendance and reported back to the advisor on the progress of students.

As director of the Sports department for NUTV, a video production club at Northeastern, I oversaw the creation of videos for our YouTube channel. I ran meetings, sent email updates, organized filming and finalized videos before posting.

I designed and updated marketing materials including handouts, graphics and videos with Adobe Creative Cloud. I also compiled social media analytics from Facebook and Hootsuite to present to the team. Lastly, I produced ad campaigns for social media, tracked progress, reported findings and made changes when needed.
