Chattanooga Renaissance Fund (CRF) is venture capital fund aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship and fueling economic growth within Tennessee and the surrounding regions. We invest in early-stage companies that display great habits and solid growth potential. Our primary focus is towards Chattanooga and surrounding cities, such as Knoxville, Nashville, and the north corner of Atlanta. We also build healthy relationships with other funds located throughout the south, Charlotte, Birmingham, Nashville, Memphis, Atlanta, and Greenville.

Launched in 2014, Startup Week Chattanooga is a celebration of Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial community. This multi-day experience features community-led events that highlight Chattanooga's growing startup scene and inspire entrepreneurial thinking. Participants include some of the most amazing startup founders, thought leaders, community supporters, investors, and technorati in town, all of whom make Chattanooga an incredible place to live, work, and play. In its first year, the community hosted 50+ events across three tracks: tech, social enterprise, and creative. Together with speakers including Brad Feld, Nicole Gravagna, Chris Guillebeau, Victor Saad, Paul Singh and others, the inaugural Startup Week Chattanooga drew thousands of excited participants.

GIGTANK 2014 is a startup accelerator designed to connect seed stage companies in the additive manufacturing (3D printing), smart grid and healthcare industries with the tools, capital and connections to go to market. Located in Chattanooga, TN – home of America’s fastest and most ubiquitous broadband service – GIGTANK is the world’s only startup accelerator where entrepreneurs can test and launch high-bandwidth business ideas on a fully-functional 1 Gbps network. With Internet speeds that run 100x faster than the national average, Chattanooga offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to innovate on the broadband platform of the future. Since launching in 2012, GIGTANK has accelerated 15 companies that have raised a combined $1.8 million in capital investment. GIGTANK is a program of The Company Lab, a non-profit that works to increase the viability of start-ups in Chattanooga by connecting entrepreneurs with expertise, resources and community.
