Responsible for fundraising plans for the Marist Fund, including mailings, phone-a-thons and events. Helped plan and implement the first day of giving for Marist High School. Created exports in Raisers Edge to best solicit constituents. Helped keep Raisers Edge up to date.Served as the liaison for the Parents Club. This included managing the budget, organizing six events throughout the year and moderating Parents Club's monthly meetings. Assisted with the Explore Program and Class Chair Program. Communicating with alumni to serve as the liaison between the school and their class as well as bringing alumni to campus to talk to current students about their careers. My responsibilities included assisting in the sale of events and then being the primary contact between clients and the venue. The administration of the events include meeting with clients to finalize items including menu, room arrangements and payment. I was the primary contact person for over 200 events. Ruffled Feathers hosts over 11 events a week. My responsibilities also included overseeing operations on the day of events and ensuring all the client is promised is met while also managing items that are not part of the agreement but may be requested. I was also in charge of promoting, organizing and directing major events, including Thanksgiving, Santa Brunch, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day. Each of these events had anywhere from 800 to 1,000 guests.
