Connecting people with the talent that exists within them! Connecting people with their dreams & purpose. Connection, is what inspired me to create a cross-culturally, immersive, alternative break program in which over 95% of participants said the program increased their appreciation for other cultures & ways of life. 87% said the program increased a sense of gratitude in their own lives and. Each year student participants described the program with the same two words, "life changing."Connection, also inspired me to develop a leadership co-curricular academy to allow students to explore their giftings for leadership. This co-curricular program, expanded the number of students that participated in student leadership programs and campus activities. Connection (and reconnection), motivated me to design multicultural reconciliation program to empower students to move into a deeper understanding of diversity & inclusion, which included healing & community.For me, connection is at the heart of being an educator & student development professional!
