About Kate Cox

I'm a Creative Producer specialising in festivals and outdoor events - also a practicing visual/performance artist for over 20 yearsWith a passion for curating the unusual, a bulk of my previous work involves interacting with the public and giving people an experience they won't forget easily. The last few years brought a shift to the way I work, with focus on Production and more recently consultancy, sharing my experience of managing and producing events. Teaming up with a fellow artist, I also paint outdoor murals taking inspiration from the Art Deco Movement. With experience in event planning and delivery, marketing, curating, venue management and developing and revitalising spaces/projects, I'm good at getting things started and motivating others to join in!I have produced and curated fresh and unusual entertainment and projects, both small and large scale for streets, events & festivals, delivering ideas in a unique, and sometimes playful style whilst being totally professional and aware of responsibilities.
