About Carlos Peralta

My passion for developing products that improve the world motivates me to work harder every day. I am currently a Masters student at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a career in Mechanical Engineering. I recently completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon.Throughout my time in university I have been blessed to partake in real life experiences that have shaped the way I view my career and aspirations. A few of these adventures include designing components for first responders at Motorola Solutions, attending the National SHPE conference, and of course my semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. In addition, I have truly enjoyed traveling to San Francisco and spending three summers working in San Jose, CA at Amazon Lab 126 and Lam Research. There was incredible value in being able to experience different regions of the US while working on new product design, 3-D Modeling, Echo device reliability, material selection, and product timelines whilst developing technical skills using programs such as PTC Creo and SOLIDWORKS
