Veritas Technologies LLC was previously merged with Symantec Corporation, it was bought out by an equity firm in 2016 which is when my role moved from Symantec to Veritas. The Business Critical Account Manager (BCAM) is the post-sales relationship manager.Managing the complete ‘post sales’ experience to ensure customers adopt, expand and renew products and services.Global dedicated BCAM for two of Veritas’ top enterprise customers, HSBC and Barclays Bank – managing a team of three BCAMs in each region to coordinate worldwide account activities and unify communication.Identifying opportunities for business growth- sales, consulting, services, and delivering product enhancements. Developing strong, committed customer relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.Proactively looking for ways to enhance the customer experience and increase customer success and retention.Presenting QBRs and tailor-made monthly reporting to vendor management and senior executives.Providing a single management point of contact for all service and support escalations, including root cause analysis, executive updates and establishing service improvement plans for any failed delivery.Clear and concise communication skills, adaptable to the audience, whether customer senior executives or operational engineers.Designed and maintained the ‘Gold Standard Handbook’ which is utilised as the “bible” to successfully implement the role of a BCAM.Delivering new hire training to new BCAMs and acting as mentor to new joiners
