Program teaching core skills and making sure that every participant has the basics to be a successful leader. Promoted to the newly created position of Learning Coordinator in Human Resources. I was given responsibility of creating the new “Learning Center” with the main function to recruit, screen, interview, set up a pre-hire testing program, hire, training, and placement. Reduced requisition to hire lead time from approximately 25-30 days to less than five days. I was able to reduce the lead time from requisition to placement from an average of 60+ days to less than 25 days. Secured and received over $61,000 in state and county training grants.- Received 2011 Midmark Innovation Award in category of Teammate Development and Risk Taking for courage to step into a new position and creation of Learning Center hiring and training model.
