I am a partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions and company law at Mills & Reeve solicitors and lead the local corporate team. As part of one of the UK’s largest corporate law teams, I have considerable experience in major cross-border transactions. I lead the firm's food and agribusiness sector comprising a team of 70 lawyers representing over 100 clients. I am also one of the firm's international representatives having recently represented the firm in Chicago, Washington DC, Sao Paulo, Netherlands , France and Germany. Recently, I have acted for Refresco on the acquisition of Coca Cola Enterprises Milton Keynes Factory and in 2018 on the sale of one of Refresco's factories in Nelson.I have represented a private office on the purchase of Cinamon, Giraffe, Eds Diner and sale of Harry Ramsdens.I act for a large listed International Food service company on numerous acquisitions.In PE I acted for management on the secondary buyout of EV Offshore to Dunedin in a £69 million transaction, for a PE house on secondary buyout to Sovereign and management on the sale of EAG to Elaghmore. In December 2020 I acted for US Fund Boulder Food Group on its investment in Recipe Products T/A Curlsmith.In motor retail I acted for Robinsons on the sale of their Mercedes Benz business to Group 1, shareholders of Hughes of Beaconsfield on sale to Vertu Plc, shareholders of Thames Honda on sale to Brayleys and Holden and Holden on 2 motor dealer acquisitions.Legal 500 says: “'Head and shoulders above the rest’ of the competition, Mills & Reeve continues to occupy a near unassailable position in the local corporate marketplace.
