• Coordinates the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvements for the Sales, Licensing, Marketing & Exhibitions (SLME) department. This includes working with the Information Technology and the Accounting departments on improving financial reporting out of the organization’s fulfillment/invoicing system (Salesforce) and the General Ledger (NAV).• Works with the SLME departmental managers and Director in developing the annual revenue budgets for the database subscription business, which generates $70M in annual revenue.• Produces monthly database revenue and SLME expense forecast to ensure organization will meet its annual target. Reviews the forecast with the SLME director and discusses assumptions behind the forecast and other issues that could adversely impact reaching the annual budget. • Manages the permissions department, which oversees the requests from publishers, professors, etc. to re-use APA copyrighted material. Generates $300-400K in revenues each year for APA.

- Compile a monthly reforecast on a full adjusted EBITDA basis and explain changes in revenues, margins, and expenses to senior management at monthly Executive Financial meetings. Suggest corrective course of action if necessary.-Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, Management Discussion & Notes, and Covenants for bank on a monthly basis as required by a Credit Agreement.-Complete What-If projections to ensure compliance with covenants under various business scenarios.-Assist CFO in preparation of quarterly Board package, consisting of financial statements, working capital projections, forecasts, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), etc.-Assist in the annual creation of the $50+ million budget.-Run bi-weekly sales meeting with sales team and Customer Service Managers (CRM’s) to review opportunities in the funnel and validate their place in the corporate forecast.-Create various financial models to assist the sales organization in identifying creative ways to enhance revenues.-Administer Sales Management Incentive Plan (SMIP) by determining eligibility for SMIP, calculating bonus amounts, and providing reporting to participants and management.
