Responsible for detachment operations, recruiting, and education functions. Oversees cadre training and professional development. Leads, recruits, trains, mentors, counsels, and evaluates 175 highly qualified men and women as prospective Air Force officers. Additionally, teaches as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, instructing Aerospace 201 and Aerospace 203 which expands student knowledge of air and space power through a historical perspective, discussing Air Force Core Values, and developing communication skills.

606Th Air Control Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy

Led 190 military and civilian cyberspace professionals in providing tactical command and control capable of deploying to any location in support of United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization operations and exercises. Was responsible for the maintenance and operations of over $173 million of Control and Reporting Center assets critical to the safe execution and application of United States and allied airpower both in garrison for the 31st Fighter Wing and deployed to various locations.

Led 3 military and civilian Department of Defense professionals. Coordinated Headquarters Air Force and major command-level executive activities, administration, daily operations for the Director of Cyberspace and Technology, in support of the command’s cyberspace and communications policy, planning, resourcing, and programming along with the force development of 3,500 cyber personnel in supporting the command’s mission to provide combat ready forces. In addition, assisted the Chief Information Officer and directly supported the command headquarters, Air Reserve Personnel Center, three Numbered Air Forces, and 684 Reserve units consisting of approximately 70,000 personnel.

461St Air Control Network Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, Ga

Was responsible for all matters relating to the administration, readiness, training and daily operations of 20 assigned military personnel. Oversaw plans, cryptographic programs, and associated equipment supporting sixteen high demand/low density Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System E-8C aircraft valued at over six billion dollars. Assembled, developed and led expeditionary teams to support airborne command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations in six geographic combatant commands. Also led and managed Plans and Programs for 81 personnel.

Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va

One of six Air Force officers selected to attend the United States Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, a 41-week resident school that provided career-level, professional military education and training to company grade Marine officers and selected officers from other services and countries. As a graduate, became mentally, morally, and physically prepared to lead in billets of increased responsibility within the complex and distributed Naval expeditionary environment, capable of: exhibiting the Marine Corps’ Core Values and standards in keeping with the highest level of professionalism expected of commissioned officers; demonstrating critical and creative thinking, ethical decision making, effective communication and a Maneuver Warfare mindset as a leader; integrating all warfighting functions across a combined arms Marine Air Ground Task Force in Naval and Joint operations; demonstrating proficiency in respective career field specialties, and prepared for continued career progression, personal development, and professional education. ​

Conducted operational test of bombers, mobility aircraft, special operations forces and C2ISR assets. Integrated Cyber planning, testing and execution for over 30 operational test and evaluation programs valued as $113 billion; integrating operational expertise with over 100 operational test personnel.

18Th Mission Support Group, Kadena Air Base, Japan

Coordinated Headquarters Air Force and Major Command-level executive activities, administration, and daily operations for the largest mission support group in the Air Force, with a direct budget of $10 million, service revenues of $62 million, and 4,200 military and civilian members. The group was comprised of five squadrons, and was responsible for the operation of the Okuma Recreation Facility on Okinawa, as well as the Bellows Air Force Station recreational facility in Hawaii.

18Th Communications Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan

Directed, planned, oversaw, and managed daily operations for 289 military and civilians for the 2nd largest communications squadron in the Pacific Air Forces major command. Ensured 250 Airmen were trained and 109 unit type codes were ready for operational support. Directed maintenance and operations on the largest and most diverse data network in Pacific Air Forces major command, with 14,000 users, and the largest phone system plant in the United States Indo-Pacific Command. Operated and maintained a $51 million network infrastructure, $29 million missions systems equipment, 2 remote communication sites, and a $1.2 million budget.
