I’m a highly organised and efficient individual, whose thorough and precise approach to projects has yielded excellent results in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics and Health & Safety. In 2022 I brought my successful and proven-track record in all aspects of operations in high-labour production environments to Pinelog Limited, a luxury timber lodge manufacturer, based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. As both a former furniture designer, and process-driven individual with an eye for detail, my role combines my passion for design, innovation and production. Controlling operational budgets, promoting profitability and ensuring that Pinelog is fully resourced to meet its targets within agreed financial parameters, are core to the role. Following the move to a new production site in Chesterfield, Pinelog has entered and exciting new phase in its 50-year history. There has been significant investment in people, machinery, and product development to ensure the business is at the cutting edge of service delivery. I am delighted to be taking a leading role in the introduction of new technologies, approaches, processes and people to the business that will contribute to Pinelog’s future success. From my early days as a cabinet maker in Glasgow, to time spent in Sierra Leone as tutor at the School of Furniture and now to Pinelog in Derbyshire, I am delighted to be part of a company which is committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that deliver on all fronts.
