Project Manager
CurrentCurrently I am working as a project manager for Ross-shire engineering, where I manage a range of projects. My duties are to ensure projects are delivered according to the program of work and within budget, whilst ensuring safe systems of work are maintained to the highest degree. Responsibilities: • Visit sites and scope projects for tendering. • Create jobs on SharePoint and build estimating sheets for tendering. • Have an understating of NEC4 contracts.• Build program of works for projects using MS Project.• Keep client up to date with milestones and ensuring relationships are strong. • Carry out project forecasting and reports for quantity surveyors and executives. • Facilitate interviews and project meetings.• Collaborate with stakeholders within the organisation such as finance, legal, IT, compliance to ensure projects align with expectations and goals. • Setting deadlines and prioritizing tasks for team members to ensure projects meet various deliverables on time. • Manage sub-contractors to ensure they understand project scope’s and deliverables. • Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring operatives and team members are efficient in carrying out their tasks and upholding the quality of the company’s standards. • Being a member of the subject matter expert support system. • Analysing financial data, allocating resources and ensuring budgets are on track.• Managing and mitigating risks and hazards.• Overlooking CPP’s, traffic management plans, MSRA’s, toolbox talks etc.
