Data entry, data QA, and analysis of scientific data from multiple sources. Proposal and implementations of an electronic naming convention for all project files along with a database management system that would allow a user to know any information needed for a specific site/project. Responsibilities also included hardware and network problems and installations; including software problems other users encountered.

Support staff in software and hardware issues by troubleshooting problems. In charge of engineering and maintaining of multiple servers. Project lead in product development and implementation, including research and development.

As a team lead, I managed a group of 20-25 eBook editors. I was personally responsible for the production goals for the team, both in terms of quality and quantity. Tasks included assessing skill level and assigning workloads, training new team members, tabulating production numbers and reporting status to management, developing improvement plans for employees not meeting expectations, coordinating vacation days and managing sick time, and conducting employee reviews. I achieved team lead status within 6 months of hire, and my team consistently led the entire production staff of 17 teams in volume and quality. Because of our excellent record, my team and I were chosen as the test environment for new software tool releases. Even with this increased workload, my team met and exceeded our production goals.

As an editor, I was responsible for the manufacture of ebooks from traditional hard-copy print materials, including the document OCR, the editing process, and compiling the finished electronic document.
