I am a hardworking and intuitive worker. I have over 20 years experience with Information Technology and in this time have see many things change and grow. I am very quick to grasp new systems and technologies, I am very good at designing systems to help efficiency within any business. I am well versed in networking, windows, Linux and virtually anything related to IT. I have very solid experience on both Windows and Linux platforms as well as good experience with MySQL and basic scripting. In most of my positions I have added serious value to the business by leveraging open source technologies to improve workflow and productivity and save on implementation and general running costs. I have been involved in many projects over my career with strong project management capabilities which results in projects that are always completed on or before the target time . I enjoy challenges and working with systems as well as improving business flow/productivity through the use of available technologies. I have also trained a number of junior technicians over the years. I thrive under pressure and I perform efficiently and effectively under any situation.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer
CurrentI am responsible as part of a small team for anything related to the infrastructure at NGN. From desktops to Servers and everything in between. Our focus is on our Fax servers however we deal with any IT related issues. I have over 20 years experience in the IT field and am competent in virtually all infrastructure areas, and am more than capable on both Microsoft and Linux platforms. Also very familiar with Active Directory.

As Head of IT I was responsible for anything related to IT/telecoms for the business. This included overseeing a small team for the day to day running on both development side and infrastructure. Meeting with Suppliers to ensure correct information and review system specs in relation to business needs. I was also responsible for the implementation of an in house system for both the inbound call centre as well as the outbound sales team as well as many other internal projects. Effeciency within the business was improved an a large scale due to the systems built and implemented at my recommendation. I reported directly to the CEO and made all decisions related to IT and the phone systems and new purchases were approved by me.
