Employed as Network Manager to run and maintain school’s IT systems, and to support approximately 1200 users.• Lead a team of 3, providing training and mentoring with regards to support tasks and day-to-day administrative duties within the IT department.• Responsible for budget and procurement of all IT equipment and services, researching, appointing and managing 3rd party suppliers in line with the school’s procurement procedures.• Manage and execute IT-related procedures and policies including backup, email, internet and acceptable usage policies.• Replaced all servers and setup a new Windows 2003 domain with Exchange email facilities, later upgraded to Windows 2008 domain, and then to 2012R2 domain with additional Windows Server 2016 servers. Also upgraded Exchange 2007 to 2010 environment and increased capacity to over 1000 mailboxes.
