As a Project Manager for over twenty-five years, I have overseen health care, municipal, educational, commercial/ retail, and industrial projects. I have managed all phases of projects from planning, selection of design team & contractors, design including zoning and building code review through construction administration and closeout. My years of experience at have taught me that coordination between architects, engineers, contractors and owners is vital to ensure a successful project, completed on time and within budget. A strongly defined project scope is important to ensure the project objectives meet the various department stakeholder goals. Regular communication to stakeholders is essential, especially when department personnel change during the life of the project.I have worked with diverse construction materials, including load bearing masonry, steel framing, wood framing, pre-engineered building, and cast in place concrete. The selection of building materials should be driven by energy efficiency, ease of maintenance, budget as well as aesthetics. I have managed a variety of project types such as new buildings, additions, renovations, tenant improvements and Facilities Renewal projects. Collaboration with the Facilities Management department throughout the project ensures a smooth transition at the completion of construction. I am proficient in Bluebeam, E-Builder, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Projects and Teams.
