Clients come to me seeking guidance and expertise to manage the complexities that come with prosperity. They entrust me to be a fiduciary of their personal wealth and family legacy.I specialize in working across generations to address emotional aspects regarding financial decision-making. Often clients are at a crossroad and it’s my role to help them navigate the best path forward. Some are business owners who closely identify with companies they have built and are now interested in exploring options for future stewardship. Others are well-respected civic leaders who feel an obligation to enhance their communities through philanthropic giving. Bernstein provides me with the resources, tools and talent to help in all these situations. I also have experience with the delicate topics of blended households, family law, special needs children and elder care. There is no part of the life cycle I cannot address, and frequently work in close concert with other external professionals on a highly confidential basis. Personally, I am actively involved with the arts community: Carolina Opera, Bechtler Museum and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. I am also a lover of fine wines and sit on the board of Charlotte Wine+Food which supports several local children's charities.
