I am currently engaged as Transformation Consultant to plan and lead the end-to-end migration and integration of 4 manufacturing sites into a single, state-of-the art, Greenfield site, which involved integrating manufacturing hardware into new secure networks and implementing 2FA on business-critical systems. I am accountable for single-handedly managing complexities and technical issues of the transformation, and I oversee the incorporation of new infrastructure design into the Head Office infrastructure. In addition, I am currently working with the business to ensure Cyber Security compliance against the National Cyber Security Centre Cyber Assessment Framework.

I was engaged as Senior SCCM Consultant to lead and coordinate a complex Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration SCCM / MECM CM2006 project, which involved leading the development and deployment of a tactical Windows 10 migration plan for an in-house application and coordinating the SCCM upgrade to current branch. I was instrumental in developing a cached In Place upgrade to Windows 10 to over 2000 sites, across approximately 2000 machines.

I was engaged as a Technical Consultant to identify and assess customer requirements for Microsoft Always On VPN, with ownership for leading the design, planning and testing of deployments.

I was engaged to lead the delivery and execution of a manufacturing IT transformation project, which involved designing and implementing Next Generation IT infrastructure across 5 sites, whilst also providing tactical support to the business, which had a significant lack of IT investment, to drive operational performance. My remit involved implementing compliance and security across the entire organisation, and creating standardised, automated Server and Client Builds (SOE) using MDT and PDQ.com. In addition, I was instrumental in re-designing network and firewalls in line with industry best practices and developed a Point-to-Point wireless infrastructure to connect local buildings and IPSEC VPNs to connect remote sites. I also led the end-to-end design and implementation of enhanced technologies.

I was engaged as Senior SCCM Consultant to lead the delivery of several business-critical projects, encompassing Always on VPN Design, SCCM, SOE, Patching and Compliance. In addition, I designed and implemented 2008 and Always On VPN, led the successful rollout of Tanium across multiple remote sites, and re-engineered an in-house application that was initially built in 2008, and packaged it to a new MSI with a robust patching solution.

I was engaged as Automation Consultant to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex Windows Server Deployment Automation project, with accountability for creating an automated service build process for several hardware platforms based on customer inputs, on a global scale. This involved building and implementing standardised servers using PowerShell Orchestration on multiple platforms, and I worked with customers to understand requirements including server role, compute size, volume numbers and sizes, and location by continent or office.

I was engaged as Interim Head of IT to design and implement a robust new network, 2 node VMWare vCenter cluster and Veeam backup solution, as part of a critical Data Centre Virtualisation and Migration project. I was the Senior Technical Lead and Project Manager on the project, with accountability for design documentation, hardware acquisition and knowledge transfer, and in addition, I led a complex Hypervisor hardware refresh, server estate consolidation, migration from VMWare 4.1 to 6.0.2, and network hardware refresh. I was instrumental in resolving all IT issues to enable successful sale of the company, including leading a complex transformation across out-of-date and out-of-support Linux OS into Windows, with standard backup.

Engaged as Senior SCCM Consultant to lead the design and implementation of a SCCM 2012R2 project. I managed relationships with multiple third party vendors throughout the end to end project from initial design through to rollout, and led the user migration from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 across 2,500 sites during concurrent Office 365 migration SCCM infrastructure servicing all sites. In addition, I designed and deployed the Windows 8.1 Standard Operating Environment (SOE). I also managed application compatibility checking, rationalisation and App-V sequencing of COTS and bespoke applications and led implementation of Windows 10 POC and live solution for end user devices.
